Fantasy Nerds Description
CORS, which stands for Cross-Origin Resource Sharing, is not supported by the Fantasy Nerds API at this time. Most users who have requested this feature aim to implement it in client-side JavaScript applications. However, making an Ajax call through JavaScript can inadvertently reveal your API key to anyone who checks the page source, which breaches our terms and conditions. Allowing access to your API key on a public website could enable others to view the source code and misuse your key to make unauthorized API calls. Many of our static services, such as NFL teams and Bye Weeks, only update once per season, so it is unnecessary to repeatedly call these services since the data remains consistent. Furthermore, even rankings and projections are generally refreshed only once or twice daily. Therefore, we highly advise that you store the retrieved results locally; this practice not only protects your API key but also enhances the speed of your application by reducing the need for repeated requests. Additionally, caching can improve user experience, as it allows for quicker access to frequently requested data.

Great Fantasy Football API Date: Aug 18 2025
Summary: Overall, I can't say enough positive things about their API. I was able to get up and running in no time and built out an entire website that would have taken me a year to build from scratch. Good, reliable service.
Positive: The FantasyNerds.com API is hands down one of the best fantasy football data sources I've worked with. The endpoints are clean, fast, and well-documented, making integration straightforward even for complex fantasy apps.
What I really appreciate is the depth and accuracy of the data - from player projections and rankings to depth charts and news updates. Everything updates in real-time, so you're always working with fresh, reliable information. That's a huge edge when building tools for drafts, waiver wire pickups, or weekly lineup optimization.
The performance is excellent. I've seen consistently quick response times and zero downtime throughout the season. On top of that, the support team is responsive and genuinely helpful, which gives you confidence when building your fantasy platform around it.
In short: if you're developing a fantasy football app, bot, or custom league tool, the FantasyNerds API is the gold standard. It's powerful, easy to use, and built by people who clearly understand what fantasy players need.Negative: I ended up subscribing to all three sports (NFL, MLB, and NBA) but not at the same time. They offer a discount if you purchase all three at the same time. I started with the NFL API first, but when I went to add the others, the discount was no longer available. It would be nice if they added that.

Great for fantasy sports sites Date: May 03 2023
Summary: Overall I have really positive things to say about those guys. They really do an awesome job of making it easy on me to implement. Not only do I use the WordPress plugin with the API but I can also use the API on my own which I'm now doing.
Positive: I use their API with my WordPress website. I literally just have to put a shortcode in and they populate rankings, projections, lineups, depth charts, schedules, and a ton more for my fantasy football, baseball, and basketball site. I can focus on writing my content and the tools portion is automatically updated by them. I love this and my users do too.
Negative: No real cons to speak of. The only complaint I kind of have is that they offer a discount if you buy all three sports but only if you buy them at the same time. I bought the baseball sub a few months later and they didn't have a way to give me a discount. Granted, it wasn't a big discount and it wasn't a big deal to me but it would be nice if we decide to buy a sport later.
