Summary: This is a great option for almost anyone, but especially a small marketing firm like ours. I have used them for many years, and will continue to do so.

Positive: Very simple and integrates well with AWS. Deliverability works really well when you set it up properly, and the analytics are very clear as well.

Negative: I replicate automated campaigns for clients because the signup sequence is all the same. I have to duplicate the emails and content one by one though - I wish there was a way to replicate an entire campaign and then just add the info in afterward. I may just be missing it though, and this is just a small point.

Summary: Overall the experience is easy and gives the user plenty of control over their templates and campaigns, without requiring specialized design or development skills.

Positive: First and foremost, I really appreciate the analytics. The reports are great. Overall, I find it very easy to put together a newsletter, even for someone with no graphic design skills. Copying campaigns and/or templates makes your work so much easier.

Negative: When you create a campaign, the platform defaults to showing you Email Octopus' own templates instead of your own. It just seems like an unnecessary extra click.

Summary: Overall, I am very pleased with the service Email Octopus provides for me as a small business owner.

Positive: Price, simplicity, user friendly, constantly updating features, does exactly what I need it to do...allow me to write and send emails to my list.

Negative: Wish some of the more user friendly features were available, like being able to resend to recipients who didn't open the first email quickly and easily, or being able to embed a video directly into the email.

Positive: EmailOctopus is the ultimate email marketing platform. It allows me to send multiple emails at a time. Its drag and drop editor gives ease in customization of email UI without any code. Its campaign insights are strict and give every detail about click, bounce rate and user demographics info.

Negative: The email schedule and automation is not working reliably.

Summary: EmailOctopus is a very cost-effective email marketing tool. It offers great integration and highly scalable to reach and interact with subscribers. I recommend this email marketing tool. Worked great.

Positive: EmailOctopus is a simple solution for business marketing. It offers very easy to start a campaign with the option to design your own email layouts. Auto-reply Feature for every new subscribers. Reports for user engagement.

Negative: Honestly, I never had any bad experience. No cons.

Summary: I love their free-tier so far. I'm still experimenting to see how to leverage as much as possible. The onboarding is very simple because of their clean design.

Positive: - Free features that matter, to get you started like scheduling and segments (Mailchimp charge for these!)
- Really good for non-profit organizations with small list
- Integrates with Zapier to expand your workflow
- Pricing plans seem a lot more reasonable when you want to scale

Negative: - Event based or condition-based emails functionality seem to be missing. Only X days/hours since they joined a list.

Summary: Overall this is a great alternative to the other top AutoResponders such as GetResponse, Aweber, ConvertKit etc.
I noticed they take extreme precautions in monitoring the emails you send. As a result, their deliverability is pretty high. This is a major plus.
I would highly recommend this product to other marketers and business owners.

Positive: I love EmailOctopus's customer service. They are very knowledgeable about the product and they are swift to respond.
The price point is very affordable for everything included with the software.

Negative: They could update the features included. The features included with this software is very minimal. They have updated some of the features from their beginning product, but they are not as advanced as some of the other top Autoresponder.
I have discussed this with their support team and they said they would mention it to the developers. So at least they are taking it into consideration.

Summary: A good service that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. For an author with a small mailing list or just starting out this is a good choice.

Positive: Easy to use - has most of the features I need from a newsletter service. I use the site as a supplement so far for a small newsletter I run occasionally and for that it works fine and I have never really run into any problems.

Negative: Sadly doesn't completely integrate with Story Origin.

Summary: I'm very happy with this and would recommend it to those just starting out, especially if they are familiar with code and can follow fairly basic set up instructions.

Positive: Easy to work with once you get it set up. Nice templates, and easy to make your own if you know a bit of code. The best of the best free email servers. Great deliverability!

Negative: Took a bit to get it set up, but once set up it was well worth it. Missing some of the more advanced features.
