Elxis Description
Elxis is a no-cost Content Management System (CMS) that enables users to effortlessly build websites ranging from simple personal pages and blogs to intricate corporate sites and portals, all without requiring programming expertise. Released under the Elxis Public License (EPL), Elxis CMS is an open-source initiative available for free, although it comes without any assurances. The licensing permits users to create software that enhances Elxis's built-in capabilities and tailor the system to meet specific needs. Since its inception in 2006, Elxis has seen thousands of downloads and installations across the globe, with translations available in over 40 languages, attesting to its widespread adoption. Recognized as a versatile, secure, and dependable platform, Elxis CMS is continuously improved by a dedicated group known as the Elxis Team. This small but committed team is responsible for the ongoing development and coordination of the Elxis project, with Ioannis Sannos serving as the chief developer alongside active member Stavros Stratakis. The collaborative efforts of the Elxis Team ensure that the CMS remains relevant and effective for users worldwide.

Elxis more than a CMS Date: Nov 11 2022
Summary: I have been using Elxis CMS for over 10 years and continue to do so for my business and personal website.
Positive: Powerful CMS providing faster website recognition using the latest programming technology with minimal requirements and using object oriented PHP programming. The Elxis CMS uses many freely available components, modules, and plugins but more importantly is its use of customizable front-end and back-end templates.
Negative: The user should be comfortable with CMS logic if he/she is not IT oriented but the online documents and user support through the forum is very helpful and quick to respond.
