    So far so good 👍

Summary: Good experience, enjoy using it. It's simple enough anyone can learn it but offers advanced enough options that it's suitable for experienced users too.

It's security is above average in my experience. There was only one brief period in time where a technical glitch revealed sone vital transactional data to unauthorized users... I can't recall the details but essentially allowed a bad actor who was observing transactions to basically reverse engineer a transaction to send another transaction with the same nonce from your wallet to wherever they wanted. I was somewhat affected by this and lost about $50 in ETH. The company quickly caught the vulnerability and patched it within a day or so. While this sucked for some users, the Edge team's reaction to it was impressive.

I am a firm believer in second chances, no one is perfect, not even the smartest team of engineers. What counts is the reaction to an imperfect design or action. Apollo 13 was a disaster because of an engineering flaw, but the engineer's reaction to it got the crew home alive. Just saying. People are still getting launched into space.

Positive: Been using Edge wallet since 2019. I've always appreciated its non custodial design and security features. I've had full control of my phrases and seeds since day 1, had 2fa options since day 1 turned on, and i have encrypted backups protected by strong password (that part is really on you, I go with 32 rando char cased alphasymolic passwords, so pretty good)

Negative: If your device is lost / stolen / destroyed, it's a little hard to get back into on a new device (if you don't have a 2nd device logged in to the edge app for authentication), but that's a pro/con cause a thief would have the same hard time or harder.

You have to be very careful and almost paranoid about your security and backups. If you lose the keys, seed or phrases to any of your wallets and for whatever reason can't get back into edge on another device... well, it's all gone Pete Tong. Whatever assets you had are sent off floating into the ethereal wasteland forever.
