Summary: In today's climate privacy is under constant attack. I would recommend EasyOptOuts as a shield from this breach in our rights.

Positive: This service from Easy Opt Outs is legitimate, effective, and affordable. After sign up, everything was very simple and required very little effort on my part. I think it runs a scan every four months and emails a me a straightforward report.

Negative: Regarding disadvantages, in my logic, there are none. The report includes all the information needed. The follow up, if desired, is simple as well. It consists of visiting one of the many information brokers websites to request the information they have on you be made private.

Summary: As stated above. I set the program in motion and forgot about it. Since then I have had bi-monthly updates and it all looks to be in order.

Positive: I appreciate the no hassle, set-it-and-forget-it, way this all worked. There were no intrusive java scripts trying to borrow into my computer like other so-called ID protection apps.. And once I paid my fait and affordable subscription, they went right to work.

Negative: There were no negatives. There were no negatives. There were no negatives.

Summary: I'm pretty confident this is the easiest and least expensive way to remove yourself from search results. It seems like a big wast of money to go with anyone else.

Positive: I chose EasyOptOuts after seeing their founders posting about privacy on Reddit (before I saw them, I was really having a hard time telling all these services apart). It's a slimy industry, but I could tell these guys were coming from a good place. Better yet, the price was the best, they got the nod from Consumer Reports -- and ultimately the service was fantastic.

I'm confident I made the right choice. I'm not sure why anyone would pay 2 to 10 times as much for the same service.

Negative: It seems like they haven't invested in a lot of bells and whistles, so there's not a flashy dashboard or anything like that. Still, they give detailed progress reports via email, and it's easy to get ahold of someone knowledgable via email.

Summary: Great service! First, I tried it for myself. I received an email with a report and checked on my own to see if I appeared on most websites, but I didn’t find anything. Then, I subscribed my wife as well. It would be great if there were family plans available for spouses and kids to make managing the process easier and to provide potential discounts.

Positive: It was easy to use and not expensive, and I received my report in about a few weeks. I checked my name on Google and was pleasantly surprised to find much less of my information.

Negative: No account dashboard.
No family plan.
No ability to add kids (probably it's no needed or against some law).

Summary: Professional, prompt, compassionate, thorough… gives me peace of mind and keeps my information off the internet.

Positive: I have used this service for two years to keep safe from an abuser. They are better than the high priced services like DeleteMe. They remove my information quickly and from far more sites than the other services offer. The customer service is personal and phenomenal. I can’t recommend them enough.

Negative: Nothing not to like! This service beats the rest! No cons.

Summary: Easy, affordable and reliable. It’s a small company and they are able to remove data off the internet for an affordable price and they are very responsive and helpful.

Positive: It was a quick and easy process to watch my information disappear from the internet over a short period of time. Amazing customer service and extremely affordable. They removed my data from more sites than some of the more expensive data removal companies. I’ve trusted them for over a year now and I am very thankful for the service, support and the safety they provide.

Summary: The service opt out is everything you want to protect your privacy. There is SO MUCH MISINFORMATION of name configurations, addresses you never lived, phone numbers, a complete mess not having anything to do with you. I am so appreciative to the owners who did an outstanding job. They respond immediately to you with any questions or concerns. Great service.

Positive: The price, the response time, communication, entire experience. They take care of everything for you. You get email updates and they keep you informed of the entire process.

Negative: There isn't anything I didn't like, I have 0 complaints.

Summary: It's an amazing service. I have never used other services like DeleteMe, Optery, reputationdefender, etc and at the price tag they start at I didn't want to spend that much money on a website with a bunch of trackers and ads.

There's a comparison sheet of a bunch of the data removal services if you look up the following sentence including the quotation marks, "comparison of many of the services we know of."

Positive: - Don't have to pay like $200 for other websites that offer the same thing
- Get your info removed in less than 24hrs
- No trackers on the website (least bloated site I've ever seen)

Negative: - -$20 from your bank account
- Payment processing system goes through PayPal

Summary: Immediate results- noticed a significant decrease in spam, phishing and scam attempts across contact details and devices as soon as the easy opt out process completed. This has provided a much needed break from the junk coming into personal email accounts and phone numbers.

Positive: Process was easy and the signup was very straightforward. Able to handle multiple points of contact and information.

Negative: A 4 month cycle may be too long to rerun the process. At the value though this is hardly a con.

Negative: I would have liked incremental updates showing where data showed up, where it had been taken down so far, as it happened, and a final update showing it all had been removed.

Summary: I was looking for a service like this since doing it myself takes so much time!! Luckily I came across them on Reddit. It is affordable, and the same day I purchased the service I received an email my info had been removed from 61 sites. I googled myself a few days later and sure enough...there was nothing there as far as personal information. I feel calmer knowing my personal info isn't blasted all over google. I recommended my friends and family sign up as well.

Positive: Affordable, Fast, and Convenient. You don't have to spend hours doing it yourself. Their service is very worth it.

Negative: I didn't experience any cons with this service. It is well worth it.

I spent hours trying to do all these take downs by myself just to realize I had barely put a dent in the long list of services abusing my data.
Alternative services were much more expensive for similar results. Many of them may provide some interactive dashboards to look at the data they are able to scrape, but the end results are the same, so the extra cost just isn't justified.

Highly recommend this service.

Positive: Great service, fast response. Much faster than attempting to do the same thing on your own. The only service of this nature at a reasonable price point.

Negative: No details on what data was discovered and taken down. Just a list of the sites data was found on and opt-outs were requested. But in the end the same data is removed that other, more expensive, products offer.
