Summary: We have been a Paraben shop for over five years now and enjoy working with Paraben tools. E3:U really does try to cover all the bases and enables a lot of flexibility in digital investigations. The technical and sales support is superb. The company offers a lot of great training opportunities and has an annual conference (PFIC).

Positive: - User Interface

Negative: Not too much to complain about. If Paraben finds issues, they work hard at correcting them. So, all I can say is that if you find an issue, make it known so that the Paraben developers can try to rectify the issue.

Keep this in mind - No one tool can do it all, and no one tool is without an occasional glitch, etc. This is the nature of forensic tools, and technology as a whole.

Summary: Very happy with this product. E3 is very complex and takes time to learn but does everything I need & more. Support is very helpful every step of the way.

Positive: E3 does everything I need and much more. Customer support is better than I've ever seen at any other company. All of the staff is very supportive and helpful and never treat you like just another customer.

Negative: Very complex program. A longer free trial period would be helpful to learn more about the program before purchasing.

Summary: I use the app for different tasks and I am quite pleased with its performance and the range of features. Multiple search parameters and reporting options are really life-savers.

Positive: Regular releases with new versions bringing new cool features.
Web-based license (I can use E3 on any PC).
Dozens of supported evidence.
Price.

Negative: Their widely advertised Python SDK is very badly documented. I had to run to support with a zillion questions until I got it running.

Summary: Overall I have enjoyed using E3 and plan to keep using the software for our business. I would highly recommend the software to anyone who was looking to get in the digital forensics field.

Positive: It is very user friendly and easy to operate. They also have a great technical support staff that helps whenever you run into issues.

Negative: Overall I do not have any cons at this time for the software.

Summary: In my the 25 years in law enforcement, I have not worked with a company this good. The programming is user friendly and the customer service is second to none.

Positive: The professional we dealt with was Kevin F and he was not only extremely knowledgeable but awesome to work with.

Negative: Sad to say but it is solely our lack of knowledge. The program is easy to work, you just have to take the time to learn the system as well.

Summary: We use Electronic Evidence Examiner both for mobile investigations and getting data from disk images.
The solution has wide range of features including different types of searches (weird named, but you get used to it), sorting, indexing, reporting.
Data is displayed in comprehensible format, everything is quite clear (though might be a bit dull, lacking fancy stuff like charts and animations). But the application is quick and stable and does it work perfectly. You can import data from iPhones, get data from Discord or Slack, or analyze the Registry. Whatever you need.

Positive: Wide range of supported evidence.
Multiple search and reporting options.
Different viewers and export options.

Negative: The UI, documentation and support are only in English.
Not a problem for me, but a problem for some of my colleagues.

Summary: This is a great forensic tool, and the staff at Paraben are very friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about their product and industry.

Positive: - Ease of use

- Budget-friendly
- Excellent support and response times

Negative: - Can be somewhat of a system hog at times, but very few and far in between
- no access to 2FA iCloud accounts at this time, however I've been told that's being worked on

Summary: An excellent tool with great support and customer service. The company does what it says it does and stands by the technology.

Positive: Easy to use.
Supports a huge variety of digital artifacts.
Price is budget-friendly.
Excellent analysis options with each type of data.

Negative: Needs a few more supported file systems, all the primaries are good just need some obscure ones.

Summary: I'm happy with the product, and It seems to be a good system, and I would recommend it.

Again technical support has been amazing.

Positive: - Great technical support, extremely helpful, and always available when needed. Technical support sat with me for over an hour, working through an issue. Never felt rushed or that I was a nuisance.

Negative: I don't have any cons with the program. My main issue is my inexperience in using the program, and I need more repetition to learn the system.
