Summary: Overall experience is really good. The software has everything for everyday work. Even if you need to connect to your remote PC on the go, Distant Desktop allows you to do it (Android app is available as well).

Positive: Lightweight and portable. All options and functions are packed into the simple and easy interface.

Negative: Strange warning on the connection window saying that upnp is not enabled. I contacted vendor and was told to ignore this warning.

Summary: Perfect remote software for home and work. On work, I'm using it for access to the documents on my company PC. And at home I'm using it for helping my mom with her laptop.

Positive: DD is perfectly designed, so even a child could use it. Also I like the support. These guys helped my a lot when I had some problems.

Negative: You can't change the output directory for the transferred files.

Summary: Overall it is a very good program, especially compared to the commercial alternatives. Nice interface and full of features.

Positive: Personally I like the interface. It is very convenient for me. All controls are available on the title bar, the options can be adjusted right from the main menu. Everything is clear and easy to understand.

Negative: The signal speed could be higher. Sometimes there is a gap of 2-3 seconds.

Summary: The program is very easy to deploy. I just send a download link to my clients who require technical assistance. All they need to do is to click the "Download" button, then run application and tell me the ID and password. That's it, I'm ready to connect!

Negative: Cannot get it to work on virtual machine. Sometimes the software shows "No signal" message.

Summary: We use Distant Desktop for screen sharing. There is a demonstration mode that allows you to show your desktop to another people. We are holding online lessons this way.

Summary: Disappointed!!! I email them thru their platform to fix an issue/error I was having, that was on 06/22/23 and 06/27/23, and still no help from them or I have not been contacted.

Positive: Just get the free version. Free is great, cause customer service sucks. They claim to contact you within 24 hrs, but they don’t.
