Daedalus Description
The Daedalus wallet serves as an open-source solution for managing ada (ADA - the cryptocurrency associated with Cardano) and is designed to evolve alongside the Cardano blockchain. This wallet offers a secure means to store your ada cryptocurrency, and by downloading and installing it, you can ensure the safety of your funds. Functioning as a full node wallet, Daedalus distinguishes itself from light wallets such as Yoroi and Adalite by downloading the entire Cardano blockchain and validating every transaction independently. This architecture guarantees maximum security and a trustless experience, since it operates without relying on third-party servers. You can easily manage multiple wallets with its hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet structure, which provides enhanced organization of your funds. Additionally, it features robust backup and recovery options to help you retrieve your assets if the need arises. Compatible with all major desktop operating systems, Daedalus works seamlessly on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Users can also personalize their experience by utilizing themes to customize the Daedalus wallet’s appearance, making it not only functional but visually appealing as well. As a comprehensive wallet, Daedalus ensures that users have complete control over their cryptocurrency holdings.

Solid ADA wallet, requires fast connection and good computing power Date: Mar 04 2022
Summary: Very satisfied with it. Works for me. As mentioned above, the main drawback is that it syncs the entire blockchain. If syncing regularly (once a day) it may take a couple of minutes to update. It maybe a problem for people that do not connect frequently (i.e. may take hours to sync).
Positive: Syncs the entire blockchain, so it essentially a node.
Has a user-friendly way to explore staking pools and delegate.
Excellent support.
Updated regularly.Negative: Syncs the entire blockchain, so it can be slow (very slow) on some machines (to the point of not being of any use for some people).
