DIGIaccess Description
Blind people have to rely on screen reader support to use websites. This is one of the challenges. Most web pages do not have alternative text for images or stored ARIA attributes to make contextual and behavioral adjustments. The screen reader cannot assist the blind without this information. DIGIaccess analyzes and analyses all elements and images on the page. It automatically deposits the missing ARIA attributes as well as the missing ALT tags to allow blind users to use the page. ARIA attributes are automatically created for drop-down menus and pop-up windows. They can also be used to deposit icons, buttons, forms, and pop-up windows. Surfing the Internet can be dangerous for people with photosensitive epilepsy. A flashing gif, animation or other flashing symbol can trigger a seizure. DIGIaccess allows you to disable self-starting animations, gifs and patterns. About 5% of people will experience an epileptic seizure at some point in their lives. Epilepsies can happen at any age.
