Coinscope will hack all your USDT if you grant them permission.

    Date: Dec 25 2024

Summary: Let’s work together to report the website and their token Coinscope (Marketcap 47B USDT; if anyone buys it, they will immediately dump it) to prevent others from being scammed. They have stolen millions of USD from people in 2024.

Positive: When you create an Airdrop program on Coinscope, you are required to grant them permissions and sign a smart contract. They embed malicious code into the contract and execute hidden commands within it. As soon as you swap any coin into USDT, the hidden command activates, giving Coinscope the ability to withdraw all your USDT through the unlimited withdrawal route granted to MetaMask. You won’t be able to trace which contract was activated.

Why am I certain about this? Because the MetaMask wallet I used was only ever connected to Coinscope for the purpose of creating the Airdrop program. When I contacted them to report that I had been hacked, they casually asked if I knew how the hack happened, then left the conversation without addressing the issue.

Negative: I created an airdrop program on Coinscope and granted permission to sign a smart contract. I was hacked, and all the USDT in my wallet was stolen. After investigating, I discovered that they exploited MetaMask’s unlimited USDT swap allowance and activated hidden code in the contract to seize all my USDT.

I am certain about this because my wallet only signed a single smart contract with them.
