These routers feature rugged hardware and a resilient architecture. They improve the availability of the grid and increase uptime of communications networks to ensure message delivery. You can choose from several platforms. The rugged IR510 model is built to withstand harsh environments. It provides enterprise-class RF connectivity to Ethernet- or serial-enabled IoT devices such as recloser controls and cap bank controls. The ruggedized IR529 platform platforms offer range extension functionality that increases RF mesh reliability by adding routes and nodes. They are also capable of connecting to low-end point density deployments.

Adtran NetVanta 3000 Series
Our NetVanta 3000 Series fix-port access routers can be used to offer carrier-bundled services and enterprise-class internet access. There are two platforms to choose from: the NetVanta 3140 Series and 3148. The NetVanta 3140 Series provides 100Mbit/s routing performance with a small form factor. The NetVanta 3148 Series can support up to 500Mbit/s routing speed and has an additional GbE interface. Two of these interfaces can be fiber-fed. It also has an 8-port Ethernet switch that can be PoE enabled. The NetVanta 3140 Series has two different forms: one is a desktop chassis made of plastic, and the other is a metal enclosure which can be easily mounted on a rack.
