Summary: Not recommended, the worst aspect being the unresponsive support. I was able to solve my project with OBS Studio.

Positive: Significantly cheaper than the market leaders, probably also because I bought it during a discount promotion.

Negative: Menu entries are partially translated with unclear content and poorly adapted to MacOS Ventura. I could not manage to record app audio. Support has not responded to my refund request for 5 days, even though I had it installed for only 2 hours.

Summary: It's so cheap for a reason. If you want to look professional, I'd try the competition. I don't recommend it.

Positive: it's cheaper than all the others, but is only useful for the most simple tasks (you can use the free Apple QuickTime player for this.)

Negative: Export quality is low, and you can't choose the compression rate, you're stuck with their one preset.
Can't separate the webcam and the screen capture. So if, for example, you want to cut into yourself talking in full screen, you just can't do that.
The video editor is super simple, good for only the most minimal tasks.

If you're not happy with it, btw, there is no refund, even after two days of trying it.

Summary: I did get some good use out of it, but ultimately it could not be relied upon. The only reason I tried to use it again was because I couldn't find anything else.

Positive: When it works, it does exactly what it's supposed to do very well. The picture and audio in recordings were fine.

Negative: 1. It fails to save recordings sometimes. You set it to record, it starts recording. But then at the end it says it has failed to save what you wanted so you lose everything. It doesn't happen all the time but quite frequently.

2. It's a nightmare to get the audio working, if it doesn't work when you've installed it. It records the video ok, but there's no audio, Audio download components are required but these can't get installed. The privacy settings have to be changed of course, but it still doesn't work when you do this. The email support is ok but couldn't solve it.
