The Old Workhorse is ready for the Glue Mill Edited: Dec 06 2021
Summary: BioTrack was a solid product for a few years, but their commitment to innovation, identifying their customer's needs, slow adaptation to compliance changes, and near worthless/non-existent tech support make it a product we are looking to replace.
Unfortunately, the other companies have other problems like 420 downtimes, required hardware, or lacking reporting features for compliance.
As an Oregon retailer, we find fixes for other states creeping into our product and updates are only rolled out when we find something not working anymore and call to find out we are on an "older version".
As the main IT/Compliance person at a high volume, small store, I need a partner, not a problem and BioTrack has become a problem.Positive: Has alot of functionality. Much of which a retailer will not use.
Does most of the basic functions and was up and running on 420 unlike some others.
It's the Devil you know.Negative: Service? Nah? Customers? Who?
