Summary: In the past month my computer has crash twice, this software has already saved me hours with of work.
Xplorer was easy to install and is the only soft ware I have found that has individual document backup.

Positive: The fact that the back up settings are stored with each individual document. I have been extremely pleased with this software and plan to purchase the software to use at home as well.

Negative: Nothing. It has worked just as it said it was going to. I have had no issues.

Summary: I would recommend this to anyone looking to save time and not lose files. Easy to set up, easy to use!

Positive: I like that I set it up and its running when I tell it to. It's nice to be able to go back to the previous version.

Negative: There is not anything I've seen so far that I don't like.

Summary: Overall I’m pretty happy with this product, I feel like it’s well designed for its purpose, and it fills in nicely some gaps that File History doesn’t cover.

Positive: For me, the defining feature of this software is the ability to specify where I can store my backups, and to navigate them easily. The “stock” file history is pretty bad for stepping back through versions, but Backup Xplorer makes this much easier.

It’s also cool that it provides a backup history for files outside of the only folders where File History works (Documents, Music, Pics, Videos and Desktop folders are the only folders backed up by File History).

Negative: Only Windows is supported currently for this software.

Summary: Great recourse. Like another team member on staff. I feel that I can go home and not stress about the day at the office.

Positive: After using my spreadsheets for the day I sometimes leave the computer running. Others in the office have been known to shut it off and lose my work. I don't have to worry when I use Back Up Xplorer.

Negative: I do not have any cons. I have been using the system but not long enough to see anything that I don't like.

Summary: I'm a semi-retired investment banker working from home. I no longer have an assistant so the organization and peace of mind this product provides is worth its weight in gold.. I love it!

Positive: For someone technologically challenged this was the ideal software - easy to use and compatible with my other apps.. the big benefit for me is having different backup schedules for each file. VERY reasonable pricing for the peace of mind this product has provided.

Negative: So far this has been problem free.. I only wish I'd been aware of this technology sooner!

Summary: Overall I think this is a great program. This really helps users have a safety net for their files!!

Positive: I really liked how quick and efficient this product was. My 87-year-old grandma could easily navigate this thing. This program has saved me literal hours on my work.

Negative: None. I haven't found anything that needs improvement.

Summary: On three separate occasions I have had other people entering data on a very complicated spreadsheet and they have broken it. This is a spreadsheet that we use to track farm purchases and expenses and it took me hours previously to track down the problem and fix the errant formulas that were pasted over. Now, not only can I roll back to right before the problem occurred with ease, but I can also see who made the problematic entry.

Positive: Quick and easy to download. Inexpensive and well worth the money. It is an incredible time saver, for sure.

Negative: None so far.

Summary: Prevented loss of important documents that I was working on, can't recommend enough! Have lost documents before and hours of work, not anymore with this software.

Positive: Great backup software for my business, don't lose work anymore. It works seamlessly with Microsoft Office products, you don't even notice it is there until you really need it. Very easy to use.

Negative: No problems, software worked great and installed easily.

Summary: Has eliminated losing work, a definite benefit as someone who is on the computer all day and has experienced the major headache of losing hours of progress due to technical issues.

Positive: This is a great piece of software for creating peace of mind that my work will not disappear into nothing and I will have to start over due to a glitch in Microsoft products or my computer going down. It is integrated into the programs I use daily so I don't even have to think about it, just do my work as normal and BackUp Xplorer makes sure everything is saved in the background. Would definitely recommend for any company to save duplicating effort when files are lost.

Negative: I did not find any real cons to using this software, it is an easy install and then just runs in the background. No issues so far.

Summary: I love that when I'm working on large projects, documents, or spreadsheets, I really don't have to worry about something causing me to lose my progress.

Positive: Easy to use and install. Integration is pretty seamless. You don't really have to think much about it, you just know that your data is safe from loss.

Negative: Settings area is a little confusing. For an inexperienced user I could see how this could be hard.

Summary: Now the solution I've been searching for exists!

Positive: I gave up on MS Word because when I shared my Word attachment and I later made updates or other collaborators improved the file, we then had to resend new attachments. Google fixed that, of course, but I still preferred Word and all of its features that Google's minimalism refuses to offer.

Negative: Unsure yet. I'm still excited to be using featureful Word again when I was forced to use featureless Google docs due to the simplicity of updates.

Summary: Pretty pleased really - you only have to recover lost content one time to justify needing it, or the cost.

Positive: Super Simple to go back to saves in 10 minute increments, or ever days. We share a lot of presentations in our company with lots of editors, and it just saved a bunch of time going back to recover some better content that had been written over.

Negative: Would have liked a little more in the way of install and set up assistance, along with user tips

Summary: Easy to use and flawless execution. I don't even think about it until I need to change something, or when I'm gratefully pulling up a previous version. I don't have to think about anything but being creative.

Positive: Being able to control precisely which documents I back up to multiple locations for easy access to all versions from anywhere is a game-changer for me. I'm a writer and being free from worry about power outages, device failures, or lost text allows me to focus on telling the story.

Negative: I like it all! The only thing I would like to see in addition is an automated option to add a template to a new document.
