Summary: Overall AvidXchange has been a great success and Im glad that we made the change. With a couple glitches I feel that AvidXchange is making great progress to fix the challenges that have come up.

Positive: With seamless integration, AvidXchange makes it easy to process invoices and payments. Reduces Administrative workloads so focus can be put on other task at hand.

Negative: With an accounting software there's always the occasional technical issues. There has been some integration challenges when it comes to our budget module.

Summary: I have really enjoyed working with Avid.

I greatly appreciated their training process. We held weekly meetings to discuss our business needs, continuing even a few weeks post-launch.

I also like that I can communicate with our different teams within Avid to streamline our process.

Negative: There is a feature to organize invoices, but it does not work.

Summary: AvidXchange meets most daily needs for accounting of payables and assets. Integration to the core system is very reliable and efficient.

Positive: Integration to the core system and seamless flow of payments from invoice to maintaining asset records.

Negative: Limitations in the company set up, report exports and inconsistent audit records.

Summary: My overall experience with AvidXchange has been rewarding and has been a significant asset to not only my department, but also my institution as a whole.

Positive: I appreciate the ease of use in the user interface. The user experience can be daunting to new users due to the sheer breadth of the applications. Nonetheless the experience has a low skill floor with a high skill ceiling given the various ways to navigate the various applications and modules.

Negative: The reporting tools can be equal parts deeply informative and restrictive. I believe that boolean is simple and helps streamline the reporting process, but it's also restrictive and can make writing reports yielding specific information to be a challenge. Furthermore, separating information for reporting by certain functions is limiting when there is information I want from one section that's unavailable when building the bulk of my reports in another section of reports. (Like building an approvals report using the historical categories and wanting to use information from the approvals reports within the vendor categories)
