Lots of promise but lacks some basics in organization. Edited: Nov 09 2025
Summary: It's seems like everything is good until you are the physician user and realize it's targeted to GPs. It has not understood that there are more than 2 specialties (family medicine and Cardio). You realize after once you actually use it that your old EMR, even if it is Citrix based, is possibly better, at least all the data is tagged. For example, you can customize how you want the data to be stored (eg. CT chest CT Abdo CT head PET VQ scan are able to be categorized in Accuro but in Arya it's a "imaging". There is also a difference between "date of test" vs "date of receipt" vs "date of review" in all EMRs but in Accuro there is just "date" and signed off. This makes it's prone to litigation in the future.
Arya tries to go Ai when they haven't gotten the basics of tagging data and it precludes you, the user from customizing to what you want. Arya forces you into the box they THINK is the best but let's be real, everyone's brain works differently and practices run differently.Positive: Web based interface is good. However, unable to re frame. Arya's teams spends more time on training session on telling you what a work around is.
Negative: Everything is locked and you cannot customize why you want to see. For example, patient banners. There is also not data that is sorted. You have to work around Arya.
