Positive: Amazon RDS is a relational database service. It is a part of AWS Stack and integrates well with other services.It is a reliable and powerful service with a lot of configuration options for advanced users. It is a part of free tier which allows limited free usage for first year.
Negative: It is easy to use once setup But the setup itself is a bit complicated and not beginner friendly. Also pricing scales pretty quickly for db intensive operations like frequent updation.
