AltoIRA lost my $1000.00 ACH transfer. Be careful. Date: Dec 07 2021
Summary: I had transferred money in the past with no issues. At the end of October I did an ACH transfer from my Bank and it never went through. When I contacted AltoIRA they initially responded, I even shared the ACH tracking information from my bank and they assured me that it would be easy for the receiving bank to track. After I shared that information and they stated that they were looking into it, they stopped responding to my emails. I would be very careful trying to transfer money to AltoIRA. It might make it, then again, it might not. Buyer beware.
Positive: The process of signing up is easy and the website it easy to use. The challenge comes when you try to put money in your account. It might not make it.
Negative: You can't trust if your ACH transfers will make it to your account. They evidently do not accept responsibility for ACH transfers that are sent to your account. Even when you give them the ACH tracking number they evidently have no internal way to track the money. This is extremely disturbing.
