Summary: Wow, easy to use and works like it should.
No errors thus far and produces logs incase you need to check data checks.

Positive: Bought Aid4Mail for a quick small project and started using, had some slight oversight on my calculation on periods, Josh (from Aid4Mail) was so understanding, patient and helped me with my predicament. Thank you Aid4Mail, you are really a genuine.

Negative: Works smoothly and quick, especially for the larger file types.
Data integrity is always in check.

Summary: My first experience with Fookes Software Ltd and their Aid4Mail mail migration product was in 2014, when I had to move my email formerly out of Eudora to Mac Mail. The product did a flawless job. What impressed me most was the top notch support their help desk (Josh Smith) provided over email. Without it, I could have not made this conversion. Luckily I saved the information about the product and about the company, as now I had to move from Apple mail to Windows Outlook 365. My emails are the most important assets on my computer and I was very concerned about the conversion. I contacted Josh and I was elated to find him at Fookes Software. He is still the same patient and extremely helpful person as he was 10 years ago. This time the move was more difficult because Aid4Mail is a Windows product and support doesn’t include Mac computers. Despite this, Josh offered his experience and suggestions when I had to do zipping on the Mac and unzipping on a Windows computer, when I had to run Aid4Mail and then import the files into Outlook, etc. I am not a technical person, so I experienced “roadblocks” all along. Josh helped even on his weekends. The product did again an excellent job and all my mail folders and sub-folders are on Windows in their original structure, the attachments are with the respective emails, etc. I am in the final process of making sure one more time that nothing is missing.

If you need email migration, I do not believe that you can find a better product than Aid4mail, which coupled with the exceptional support the company provides, leads to a perfect experience. I highly recommend them, in today’s world it is unusual and has to be appreciated.

Positive: - very easy to use product
- does perfect conversions/email migrations
- support is excellent; if you had had a 10 as best, that's what they deserve

Negative: I wish they had the product working on an Apple computer

Summary: I love this tool and use it regularly to support my eDiscovery intensive matters. It is an invaluable collection tool that's incredibly versatile and easy to use. This is a must have tool for anyone who supports eDiscovery.

Positive: Clean intuitive interface.
Supports popular import and export formats.
Versatile functions.
Fast and reliable operation.
Nice logging.
Good support for case and evidence organization.

Negative: No support for chat data formatting.
Would like to see the ability to convert slack or teams PST exports to RSMF.

Summary: My organization subscribed to this application for the purpose of converting pst files to alternative formats and it has worked well for us.

It did take some time to learn all the settings, but once I was more comfortable with the application , combined with first rate customer rate, it is a product I would recommend if your organization needed to convert any email formats.

Positive: The program has a number options that allow you to customize your conversions from and to a variety of formats. The interface, progress logs, and error logs provide you with enough details to troubleshoot if any errors occur.

The customer service for the product is the reason why I would recommend it though. Emails were quickly responded to and Josh ensured you had found a solution for your issue.

Negative: I do not have a technical background and there was a bit of learning curve using the application.

With the application being customizable, there were quite a few settings to learn what their impact on the conversions were and it wasn't always clear to me.

Summary: Aid4Mail 5 is a powerful and versatile email conversion and migration tool that supports a wide range of mail formats and services. It offers fast and reliable conversions, extensive search capabilities, and various options to customize the output. It's my go-to tool for both ediscovery and analysis applications.

Positive: Converts emails in a forensically sound and defensible way; can also convert to CSV for quick review/analysis; supports all leading formats including cloud-based formats. It's is extremely fast and supports search while it converts or captures INCLUDING wildcard and proximity searching. It has both 32-bit and 64-bit software. Very detailed logging.

Negative: It doesn't have a built-in viewer for initial browsing or QC.

Summary: I work in insider threat and have to go through a LOT of PST files.

If I'm not using it daily, then it's being used at least once a week.

A few hiccups I had at the beginning were due to how deep the filters look at each message. A quick look through the help file helped me isolate where to filter and problem was solved.

Another issue I had couldn't be solved from the big data provider, but with the support I received from Aid4Mail... let's just say a little regex goes a long way.

Positive: - Easy to use/understand interface

- The online 'Help' guide
- Multiple export options
- Powerful regex implementation

Negative: The command line feature is locked to the enterprise level license.
This would immensely simplify my processes, I wish it could be an add-on license.

Summary: I am sharing my feedback for Aid4Mail, a software I have used for the last 4 or 5 years. I have nothing but good things to say about Aid4Mail and its performance.
Our company uses a couple of the different versions of Aid4Mail, and both are rock solid. Aid4Mail processes data very quickly and, most importantly, preserves data integrity. It supports over 40 email formats and can handle large amounts of data efficiently and accurately.
However, if I had to choose one reason that makes Aid4Mail stand out from the rest, it is their customer support. They are always responsive, helpful, and professional. They go above and beyond to solve any issues or answer any questions that I have. They also provide regular updates and improvements to their software.
I highly recommend Aid4Mail to anyone who needs a reliable and powerful email migration, archiving, analysis, or conversion tool. It is worth every penny and more.

Negative: Aid4mail Could improve its Licensing Model and how it applies to different Operating Systems.

Summary: Although I'm not yet sure if this is the best fit for my particular organization's needs (archival use), it is a powerful, well-designed program that would meet the needs of many. The best part is the really excellent customer service. It's assuring to know that if I have a problem, I will get a fast and solution-oriented response from their friendly staff!

Positive: Very powerful program with many settings, options and features for conversions and searching (though I haven't yet done extensive searching). First-rate customer service from Josh who has provided timely, friendly and thorough technical support!

Negative: Very reasonable cost for what the product provides, but still a little expensive for my organization's budget. For a non-technical person such as myself, it was a learning curve. Running a basic conversion isn't difficult, but it took time to understand the implications of choosing different settings.

Summary: This is my go to email tool. I would highly recommend having Aid4Mail 5 in your arsenal. Yearly price fee is very reasonable.

Positive: Support of Aid4Mail 5 is outstanding. Support staff is quick to respond with a solution.
I am able to parse Email Sources at the same time

Aid4Mail 5 provides a variety of email sources, targets and filters to make outputs easy to work with.

Negative: Yahoo and AOL exports are cumbersome. The work around is a lengthily process. Hope Aid4Mail comes up with an easy solution.

Summary: A superb product, very well written and supported. First introduced to me during my Foundation Forensic Training Course at the Military Academy in Shrivenham. I have used it ever since and i'm very pleased with how the software has been developed. The support we have received has been excellent. I would highly recommend this product as being the most useful tool for emails in the forensic practitioners toolbox.

Positive: We have been using Aid4Mail now for over 15 years and we have been amazed at the speed of processing. The ability to select multiple sources in one go exporting the older structure in which the evidence was found is so critical. In addition the ability to set Keywords that can be used to identify key items quickly is so helpful. Lastly the ability to process multiple types of email sources using the one tool is excellent.

Negative: I'm struggling to think of a con, but exporting of outbound email addresses was in my opinion better with the earlier version of Aid4Mail but the current version can still meet the objective just the same. Otherwise, I would recommend this product to any forensic practitioner

Summary: Fantastic experience using Aid4Mail, and would wholeheartedly recommend to others. It's a great tool that is helpful for processing very large amounts of email.

Positive: Rapid processing and conversion of emails to a variety of formats. Always a dependable tool with useful updates.

Negative: Reporting is good, but could be improved and exportable.

Summary: I'm a litigation paralegal and a satisfied user of this product (various versions) for approximately 15 years. Over the years I have found this program to be a great timesaver for me as well as the attorneys I work with. The program can convert many email file formats. I find the ability to extract the metadata from messages to create spreadsheets to be invaluable. Last but not least, my experience with customer service has been great. I've always gotten a timely responsive message.

Positive: Converts may file formats to pdf, able to extract metadata to csv files to open and convert to excel which is a time saver! Great, responsive customer service!

Negative: Ability to convert email message attachments to pdf.
