For stylus support on older Windows platforms, a plugin is required. The entire application is written using TypeScript, which is a typed superset JavaScript that compiles to regular JavaScript. Node.js server runs the server-side code with the express framework. The Angular framework is used to build the user interface. It connects to the server via WebSockets. The entire application is built using HTML5 standards without flash or browser plugins.
