DPO Group is an African payment service provider (PSP). It has developed the technology that allows individuals and businesses to make payments online and offline using all currencies and payment methods including mobile money, major cards, and e-wallets. DPO Group currently works alongside over 100,000 merchants, which includes 50+ airlines, hotels and restaurants, as well as travel agents across Africa. In 2006, we noticed a gap in the online payments landscape in Africa. Both consumers and merchants wanted the online marketplace to be available for payment, booking, and purchasing. Online payment processors were difficult to find. We set out to fill this gap, but also to do more. We were able to facilitate local business growth by allowing customers and merchants to transact securely online as well offline. We have been a leader in the online payments sector for many years.
