Zero to MDM with minimal effort Date: Nov 09 2022
Summary: The learning curve from having no MDM solution to having complete peace of mind during the pandemic cannot be measured.
Positive: I find there are many benefits to Addigy. The introductory learning curve wasn't too large to cope with. The support desk is always responsive and helpful. The team are also accessible via Slack and host various online sessions concerning new features or Mac OS changes.
Negative: The largest problem we had was getting to grips with how to structure the policies and how we use Addigy. Sometimes in be very daunting because there are so many features and possibilities.

MSP Friendly MDM Solution for Mac Date: Aug 23 2022
Summary: Our experience has been positive and we look forward to seeing the product evolve. Addigy has also streamlined their interface which helps.
Positive: We’ve used Addigy for 5 years. We were using JAMF before. We like that Addigy allows us to manage multiple clients from one login.
Addigy has matured enough that there are resources for almost any mainstream app or workflow. This means if you want to do something, odds are there are resources already posted. If there aren’t, support has been very helpful.
We also did ACE certification which helps keep up credentials for the Apple Consultant’s network. We’ve taken the course twice - certifications expire after 2 years - and have enjoyed the progress Addigy has made in their product each time. Addigy has a few updates planned that will allow us to more easily manage our client's Macs.Negative: While support is great, the follow-up I’ve gotten from the trainers has been inconsistent. I've emailed on questions we went' over during the course and received no response.

Intuitive & Growing Product Date: Aug 04 2022
Summary: Overall, I am very pleased with the product. It was an added benefit that at the time (they may still very well do this), there was only a 25 device minimum required to get started, as opposed to JAMF which I believe is 50. This helps out smaller companies, or those that may work in a hybrid environment where only a select few are working with MACs.
For those looking for an easy to use MDM solution, that is constantly growing and listening to the community to feedback, Addigy is for you.Positive: As a customer since 2019, my favorite aspect of Addigy is the fact that it is constantly improving and making changes. From the time I've started with Addigy, it is night-and-day how much more simple the product has become, and nicer to work with overall.
From the way policies are handled, to UI changes, to added features/integrations, it has made MDM easy for an administrator like me, whose first MDM experience was with Addigy.
Support is always quick to respond, and have always found resolutions to any issues I've had, there are also plenty of knowledge-base articles to help you along your way.
They also provide paid training, which goes over the ins-and-outs of the product, which helped me improve my instance drastically.Negative: My only two cons are:

1. When adding software to your policies through their public software catalogue, it becomes messy when searching during a manual deployment to a device, because it shows all previous versions added to your policies.
2. They removed their Duo 2fa integration, although not the end of the world as we were able to add their Azure SSO integration into Duo. -

Simplified device management Edited: Aug 04 2022
Summary: This is possible the best choice for out of the box MDM and RMM support of macOS devices. I cannot think of another toolset that provides all the features we need at this price point and with this easy of use.
Positive: Easy to use.
Easy to administer device policies.
Secure.
Simple process.
We are able to create policies, and swiftly deploy them to remotely managed devices without a large amount of end-user related assistance. Once a device is enrolled we can properly maintain the device remotely, and provide secure reliable patching and updates to the machine as well as manage the system to provide secure use for the end-user.Negative: Lack of integration with Microsoft365 Conditional Access at this time.

Addigy makes life simple! Date: Aug 04 2022
Summary: Addigy makes it very simple to deploy new machines into an environment, while also providing advanced options for when I need more customization. The solution truly is the best of both worlds for my Mac endpoints.
Positive: Addigy's MDM is lightning-fast and works seamlessly with all the macOS and iOS products i've encountered. The policies were recently revamped to make them even easier to manage (thanks!). I love that I can push custom apps to workstations, and all I have to do to onboard a new workstation is to install the Addigy agent.
Negative: Addigy has an opportunity to improve their monitoring tools. While they are great when reporting when I request to be informed if a server goes offline, the ticket does not auto-close if it comes back online. Also, it seems to hoard old version of software in their local repository on the workstations, which could fill up space, but that could be an issue on my end not knowing how to automate cleanup.

Addigy Mac Management Date: Aug 04 2022
Summary: Addigy has been great since day 1 and we wouldn't be able to service our customers the same using any other product. Addigy has given us the tools to make the most out of what we do everyday and support our clients for their every need.
Positive: Amazing support, a dedicated community and a team willing to work with you on anything you need. Truly a large service with a small community feel that will make you believe that your voice and what you need matters!
Negative: Some systems seem to be redundant, such as updates and software deployment, but overall nothing seems to be lost anywhere.

Convenient Software to Manage Devices Date: Nov 02 2022
Summary: We are a school that over Covid went from about 150 devices on our campus to over 900. We previously did all maintenance and set up manually or through large charging carts that we could do 30 devices at a time, but it would be lengthy. The most significant benefit is that now, when we update and set up devices for the next school year, one person can get through and do it all within a few weeks, as opposed to the months it would take without the software. There is no more manually adding each app for each device. I have the devices set up for which policy they are in, and as soon as I connect them to the internet, they start loading all apps within that policy and all the restrictions are set.
Positive: What I like best about Addigy is that it easily syncs with Apple School Manager and pulls any devices we purchase into the main (Parent Policy). This allows me to set up and track each device as soon as they are connected to the wifi. We manage over 900 devices, so it also is great that I can organize devices into separate policies to keep track of them and push software and updates to specific ones. We also have loaner devices, and the Lost Mode feature allows me to lock the screen, display a message and make it ding so that the person knows to bring it back at the end of the day. I have found that their support is responsive and generally is able to solve or help me work through solving the problem I have.
Negative: All of the devices we manage in Addigy are iPads. It seems like some functions are only available for MacBooks which is disappointing but could be more of an Apple problem instead of Addigy. Some of the help articles are great, but many are written in a manner that you have to have more than a basic knowledge of Apple devices to use. At times, I have used multiple help articles and still reached out to support to figure out what I was trying to do.

Addigy is the Best Date: Aug 20 2022
Summary: I highly recommend Addigy as a MDM (Mobile Device Management) and RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) for the Mac platform.
Positive: Addigy is Awesome!! The Addigy software and their support team have been a great partner for us. As a MSP we embrace our all Mac customers and using Addigy allows us to support them with security policies, alerting and automatic software and App installs.
Negative: When you enable file vault and use Addigy users then the user needs to login twice after restart or shutdown.

Great Product that allows more efficient working Date: Aug 04 2022
Summary: Overall Addigy has enabled me to be much more efficient in managing the IT for the company.
It has really improved the time it takes to do certain tasks which has increased my efficiency and allowed me to spend more time on other tasks.
When contacting the support team they have always been knowledgeable and keen to help and have always provided great customer service which is appreciated.Positive: One part of the system I found particularly useful was the remote desktop, it allows me instant access to any computer within the business whenever a user needs help. This allows me to provide quick assistance and react to an issue straight away.
Another thing our company has really benefitted from is the IT policy enforcement capabilities this has made it easier to enforce policy across the whole company in a smooth and consistent way.
Asset management previously to take a long time, but using Addigy has sped this process up so much whilst still remaining to a high level of accuracy detail.Negative: I found getting used to the software a little hard, in the beginning it was hard for me to set this up without any training. For a new user the interface can take some time to get used to.

Ease of use, great features that are not fully fleshed out Date: Aug 18 2022
Summary: Overall good product as MDM tool for Apple devices. Nice features and integrations that appear to be still in development to a degree. Wish support was quicker to find resolutions to issues.
Positive: Ease of enrolling Apple devices and deploying profiles/policies. Good dashboard interface and layout. Decent support. Ease of deploying applications to iPad and setting locked down single app kiosk modes. Remote control/screen sharing tool for Macs being developed.
Negative: Not all features fully fleshed out . AD integration great idea but have seen passwords stop working when linking AD account with local Macbook account. Requires redundant login screens with this feature deployed. Some glitches and delays when adding applications to iPads via RMM profiles/policies
