Description
Tagsight serves as the authoritative repository for engineering data, efficiently processing your entire set of drawings to compile essential elements such as the instrument index, I/O list, equipment list, line list, and valve list necessary for project execution. It can interpret various documents including P&IDs, single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, datasheets, and cable and junction-box schedules, regardless of whether they are scanned sheets or CAD-exported PDFs. Each tag is systematically categorized according to the standards already utilized in the drawings, which may include ISA 5.1, KKS, IEC 81346, NORSOK, DIN 19227, or specific conventions set by the operating house. An engineer meticulously verifies or amends each entry before any data is finalized, ensuring that the register is thoroughly reviewed rather than taken for granted. Tagsight has the capability to export data in multiple formats including Excel, CSV, TIA Portal XML for Siemens S7, Rockwell L5X for Studio 5000, PLCCreator, DEXPI, JSON, and annotated PDF, facilitating smooth data transitions. Additionally, it offers revision comparison features to ensure that change management reviews highlight only the modifications made. A REST API and an MCP server enable seamless integration with the broader toolchain, enhancing workflows and fostering collaboration across teams. This interconnected approach not only streamlines processes but also improves accuracy and efficiency in data management.
Description
TinyCAD is a free, open-source software designed for creating circuit diagrams and is compatible with Windows operating systems. Remember, TinyCAD is completely free to use and will remain so, with no authorized sellers involved in its distribution. While assembling libraries of circuit symbols in TinyCAD can be straightforward, it often requires significant time investment. If you possess symbols that could enhance the TinyCAD experience for others, consider sharing them on this platform for communal access. The user manual for TinyCAD is bundled with the installer but is also accessible online through the TinyCAD wiki. If you identify any areas within the manual that could use improvement, feel free to contribute by editing the Wiki, which is a valuable resource for all users. Additionally, the GitHub site offers tutorials on how to effectively edit Wikis, making it easier for anyone to participate. By collaborating and sharing resources, we can all contribute to the growth of the TinyCAD community.
