Description
OpenSpec is an open-source framework designed to enhance AI-assisted development through a structured, spec-driven approach. It provides a system for defining requirements before coding, ensuring alignment between developers and AI tools. The platform organizes work into clear artifacts, including proposals, specifications, design documents, and task checklists. It integrates with more than 20 AI coding assistants, making it compatible with a wide range of tools and workflows. OpenSpec promotes an iterative and flexible process, allowing teams to refine specifications as projects evolve. Its command-based interface enables users to propose features, implement changes, and archive completed work efficiently. By introducing structure, it reduces the unpredictability often associated with AI-generated code. The framework supports both individual developers and large teams, scaling across different project sizes. It also emphasizes context management to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI outputs. Ultimately, OpenSpec helps teams build software more reliably by combining human intent with AI execution in a structured workflow.
Description
Audible's ACX outlines a total of eight technical standards, and any file that fails to meet even one of them is promptly rejected. Chapterpass meticulously prepares each chapter file to comply with these specifications, ensuring RMS loudness is maintained between -23 and -18 dBFS, peaks are capped at below -3 dBFS, the noise floor is under -60 dBFS RMS, and room tone is present at both the beginning and end, all while outputting a 192 kbps CBR MP3. Every file is reviewed for compliance with the complete specifications before it is made available for download, and users can see the actual measurements aligned with each requirement for all checkpoints. The processing is conducted within the user's browser via WebAssembly technology, guaranteeing that the audio files remain on the user's device throughout the process. There is no need to set up an account to use the service; the first file is complimentary, with subsequent charges of $36 per finished hour, $27 for five or more hours, and $18 for ten or more hours, all billed by the second. Additionally, a free measurement tool can be accessed at /free-acx-check, which evaluates the loudness, peak levels, noise floor, and silence padding against the specifications without conducting any mastering. Chapterpass is dedicated to mastering the necessary technical standards, although it does not perform any editing, noise removal, or corrections to narration. This ensures a streamlined process for creators looking to comply with ACX requirements efficiently.
