Description
The OneSoil Platform serves as a comprehensive agricultural solution catering to various stakeholders in farming, including farmers, agronomists, dealers, and agri-service providers. It features two integrated tools that utilize the same field data to enhance farming practices:
OneSoil Mobile, which is a field scouting application, allows users to oversee their fields using satellite imagery, evaluate vegetation and moisture levels, and access real-time agronomic insights from its AI Agronomist feature.
On the other hand, OneSoil Pro is a web-based precision agriculture tool designed for creating variable rate application maps for both seeding and fertilization, planning soil sampling based on productivity zones, conducting field trials, and reviewing historical field performance data.
The seamless integration between the two products ensures that observations made in the mobile app can be effectively addressed through precision agriculture workflows in Pro, allowing users to identify issues and take corrective actions, including the implementation of prescription maps.
The OneSoil Platform is versatile enough to support individual farms or an entire dealer's client portfolio, and potential users can get started with either the complimentary mobile app or a free trial of OneSoil Pro to explore its full capabilities. Moreover, this dual approach not only enhances productivity but also fosters a more data-driven decision-making process in agriculture.
Description
SWAT MAPS, or Soil, Water, and Topography maps, serve as detailed soil foundation maps designed to facilitate the precise application of fertilizer, seeds, soil amendments, pesticides, and water management practices. These maps are developed through a proprietary method that takes into account various factors including soil texture, organic matter content, topsoil depth, and salinity, all of which can significantly affect crop yield and fertilizer efficiency. Among these factors, water availability is the most critical determinant of yield and fertilizer effectiveness. The SWAT MAPS divide field areas into ten distinct management zones based on the differentiation of dry and wet regions. Topographical elements are categorized by different landscape features found within the field, such as hilltops, mid-slopes, and depressions, which can all affect soil moisture retention, erosion rates, organic matter content, acidity (pH), and nutrient availability. Each SWAT MAP consists of ten zones, which allows for tailored management that addresses the variability present in your agricultural land. This targeted approach ensures that farmers can optimize their resources and maximize productivity while maintaining soil health.
