Description
OHIPay is a cloud-based medical billing solution designed specifically for Ontario physicians and their billing teams. This software offers a web-based workspace along with a mobile application, allowing users to generate claims using health-card information, verify eligibility, incorporate fee codes, compute applicable premiums, and assess advisory alerts regarding possible rejection codes. Users can submit claims in groups via MC EDT and monitor their progress from the draft stage through to submission, payment, or potential rejection. Additionally, OHIPay facilitates inpatient rounding rosters, enables health-card scanning, and supports correction and resubmission processes while allowing for the reconciliation of Ministry remittance reports with the services submitted. The platform includes handy references for billing codes. Although the software aims to assist practices in managing their own Ontario physician claims, the advisory warnings provided are intended for review purposes only and do not guarantee the acceptance or payment of claims.
