Description
Normfluss serves as a platform designed to enhance document accessibility by assessing, correcting, and validating the compliance of PDF files. Its complimentary assessment evaluates any PDF against the standards of PDF/UA-1 as well as the relevant sections of WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, providing a detailed report on which criteria are met and which are not. When users opt for remediation, Normfluss automatically addresses issues that can be fixed by machines, while also assisting a human reviewer with subjective aspects like image descriptions and reading order, culminating in a cryptographically signed record that documents what was tested and what remains non-compliant. The platform guarantees that it will not declare a document as conformant unless both the machine-checkable components are satisfactory and all human-evaluated criteria have been verified. All processing activities are conducted on infrastructure located within the EU, utilizing self-hosted models to ensure that documents are never transmitted to any external AI service. Normfluss is widely adopted by various organizations involved in document publication that are required to adhere to accessibility regulations, including councils, universities, banks, transport providers, and publishing houses. This robust platform ensures that all users can reliably achieve compliance with accessibility standards in their published materials.
Description
In response to the stringent quality requirements set by the automotive sector, semiconductor manufacturers are increasingly adopting Part Average Testing (PAT) to bolster the reliability of their products. This method focuses on identifying and eliminating "outlier" components that may pass conventional testing yet display unusual traits, thereby mitigating long-term quality and reliability concerns. By performing statistical analyses on a range of devices and modifying the pass/fail thresholds, PAT enables the early detection of these problematic parts, ensuring that only the highest quality components are included in production shipments. While Part Average Testing (PAT), as outlined in the Automotive Electronics Council AEC-Q001-Rev C specifications, primarily addresses DPM techniques for normal (Gaussian) distributions, many real-world scenarios involve distributions that do not conform to this norm. Consequently, it is essential to employ tailored PAT outlier detection strategies to prevent significant yield losses or erroneous identifications of outliers. To meet these challenges, PAT-Man emerges as a robust solution for implementing effective Part Average Testing (PAT). This innovative tool not only enhances the reliability of semiconductor components but also streamlines the testing process, ultimately benefiting manufacturers and consumers alike.
