Description

Newsletter Ready is an online tool designed for organizations that generate content on news or blog platforms to simplify the creation of email newsletters. Users can input a URL or an RSS feed, allowing the tool to automatically fetch the latest articles, choose specific items for inclusion in the newsletter, and generate a subject line, introduction, summaries of the articles, and a sign-off complete with links to the original content. Before any emails are dispatched, users have the opportunity to review and modify the draft to ensure it meets their standards; no messages are sent without their explicit approval. The service also maintains a record of how and when each subscriber agreed to receive communications, includes the sender's identification and contact information, features an easy unsubscribe option, and filters out bounced or complaint-prone addresses. Organizations can select either English or Japanese for their newsletter's language, as well as choose whether U.S. or Japanese law governs the service. This tool is particularly beneficial for teams and publishers aiming to transform their existing content into engaging email newsletters. By streamlining the newsletter creation process, it allows users to focus more on content quality and audience engagement.

Description

lfr is an all-in-one mail server and newsletter solution designed as a single Go binary that operates on both Linux and macOS platforms. This tool empowers developers, self-hosters, and small teams to easily create and manage mailboxes for their domains, handle aliases and forwarding, and efficiently search and respond to emails while also allowing for domain mail record configuration. Its newsletter features include customizable double-opt-in signup lists, Markdown-based content for issues, hosted archives along with signup websites, an easy one-click unsubscribe option, and effective handling of bounces and complaints, all facilitated through a configurable SMTP relay if direct sending isn't possible. The command-line interface can be accessed either locally or through SSH, providing functionality for setup and diagnostics related to server, DNS, and mail delivery. lfr is made available under the MIT license, meaning that while the software itself is free, users are responsible for managing and financing their own server and any optional relay services they choose to utilize. With its robust capabilities and user-friendly approach, lfr stands out as an ideal choice for those looking to maintain control over their email and newsletter operations.
