Description

MeAdvisor, a web-based service that reports and reduces methane emissions from the oil & natural gas sector, is called MeAdvisor. The system's primary purpose is to allow the development of a quality inventory of methane emissions, and provide a platform for maintaining a detailed emissions source database. The web-based interface was designed to provide a seamless experience for environmental managers, field personnel, and production accountants.

Description

SeaVint Carbon is a web-based tool designed for ship operators and managers to facilitate the preparation of calculations for the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) and FuelEU Maritime. Users can input voyage details and fuel volumes based on bunker delivery notes to compute the associated emissions, necessary EU allowances (EUAs) for surrendering, their respective costs, and the greenhouse-gas intensity as per FuelEU guidelines, along with compliance balances and potential penalties. The calculations consider voyage coverage alongside the 2024–2026 phase-in period for EU ETS, the methane slip from LNG engines, as well as the use of biofuels and renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBOs). Regulatory aspects are directly tied to their corresponding legal articles for easy reference. Teams have the capability to analyze data by individual ship and year or across an entire fleet, and they can export their findings to Excel or CSV formats for verification purposes while also being able to monitor reporting and surrender deadlines with notification reminders. Additionally, all modifications are meticulously documented in an audit log, ensuring transparency and accountability. Notably, the application automatically classifies ships with a gross tonnage below 5,000 as exempt from these regulations.
