Description
Loom is a video messaging and screen recording platform built for asynchronous communication across distributed teams, customer conversations, and business workflows. Users can record their screen, webcam, or both from desktop computers, mobile devices, or a Chrome browser extension. Recorded videos can be shared through links, embedded in other applications, or integrated into existing collaboration and productivity tools. Loom includes an editor for trimming and combining clips, adding backgrounds, and inserting text, arrows, boxes, and other visual elements. Viewers can collaborate directly on recordings through comments, emoji reactions, tasks, and calls to action. Automatic transcripts and captions in more than 50 languages help teams communicate across locations and time zones. Loom AI can transform recorded walkthroughs into documents, standard operating procedures, and Jira work items while automatically capturing relevant technical information for bug reports. The platform integrates with services including Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Figma, Jira, and other workplace applications. Loom also offers enterprise security and administration capabilities such as SSO, SCIM, privacy settings, custom data retention policies, video organization, and viewer analytics.
Description
Loom Network empowers developers with the scalability and user-friendliness necessary to create high-performance decentralized applications (DApps) that cater to users today. By offering seamless integrations with major blockchains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance Chain, deploying a DApp on Loom ensures it remains relevant and accessible to the widest audience possible. Since its launch in early 2018, Loom Network has served as a multichain interoperability platform that is fully operational. It is specifically designed to scale high-performance DApps, providing a user experience that rivals that of conventional applications, thereby making it easier to onboard new users without the complications of requiring them to install cryptocurrency wallet software. This capability allows developers to utilize assets from leading blockchains and create a DApp just once, making it available across all platforms simultaneously. Additionally, on Loom Network, developers can use the token to cover their DApp hosting costs, and unlike the model used by Ethereum, they pay a straightforward monthly fee for hosting their applications on Loom. This structure simplifies financial planning for developers looking to maintain their DApps efficiently.
