Description
Tandem is a comprehensive software platform for hardware engineering that effectively bridges the gap between product requirements and CAD design activities, while also incorporating review contexts and validation evidence. Its dedicated requirements workspace empowers teams to systematically organize requirements, allowing for seamless tracking of design modifications and supporting documentation. By integrating with CAD systems, Tandem captures pertinent design sessions, enabling engineers to comprehend the reasons behind changes. Additionally, teams can associate review feedback with specific requirements, CAD alterations, and engineering choices, while also assessing the implications of changes as designs progress. Tailored for hardware teams engaged in the development of intricate products across various industries like aerospace, space exploration, medical devices, robotics, automotive, and industrial machinery, Tandem complements existing CAD, PDM, and PLM systems. This integration ensures that mechanical, systems, and quality engineers maintain accessibility to design intent and technical context throughout product development and review processes. Ultimately, Tandem enhances collaboration and clarity among teams, facilitating the successful delivery of complex engineering projects.
