Description
IMAIOS DICOM Viewer (IDV) is a complimentary online platform that enables users to view medical images directly from their computer, CD, or DVD, providing exceptionally quick 2D rendering. There is no need for advanced computer skills; just drag and drop your images into the designated area to view them in the DICOM viewer. All you need is a web browser to utilize IDV, whether from your main workstation or a different location, ensuring seamless access without delays. Importantly, your files remain on your computer, not uploaded to our network, which safeguards the privacy of patients' medical information. Designed for speed and ease of use, it offers features such as scrolling through image series, adjusting brightness and contrast, zooming in and out, panning images, measuring angles or distances in centimeters between points, and applying preset windowing settings for CT scans. Available for everyone through IMAIOS and our IDV app, this DICOM viewer is free for personal and non-commercial applications, making it a valuable resource for those needing quick access to medical imaging. With its user-friendly interface and robust capabilities, IDV stands out as an essential tool for medical professionals and students alike.
Description
OmniDICOM serves as a versatile desktop application for both DICOM viewing and metadata modification, designed for educational and research purposes on both Mac and Windows platforms. Users can open local studies, conduct series comparisons, perform measurements, and view cine sequences, while also having the capability to inspect or alter DICOM tag values. The application features advanced viewing tools such as multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), maximum intensity projection (MIP), 3D volume rendering, and digital subtraction angiography (DSA). Additionally, it includes PACS and DICOMweb functionalities that facilitate study transfers, along with various export options for images, video, DICOM files, and STL models. The Professional version introduces a processing bench equipped with stacked filters and analytical tools like histograms, profiles, and time-intensity curves. A 14-day trial of the Professional edition is available upon first use, but it comes with restrictions on exports, and to maintain unrestricted access, users must obtain a paid license. The Basic subscription starts at $10 per month or $99 annually per machine, while the Professional plan is priced at $45 per month or $449 per year. It is important to note that OmniDICOM is not classified as a medical device and should not be used for diagnostic or clinical decision-making purposes, emphasizing its role as a supportive tool for research and educational endeavors. This ensures users are aware of the limitations and appropriate use of the software.
