Description
Healenium is a self-healing test automation tool that is open-source and designed to enhance the stability of Selenium-based tests by adapting to alterations in web elements. As UI modifications can often disrupt locators, leading to maintenance challenges, Healenium automatically identifies and substitutes a malfunctioning locator with the most suitable match for the intended element, thereby correcting the test during execution. In the event of a NoSuchElement error, it evaluates the current state of the webpage against the previously successful locator, generates potential corrective locators, selects the one with the highest compatibility, and proceeds with the test using this replacement. This automatic adjustment significantly curtails non-functional test failures, lessens the burden of maintaining automation code, and bolsters the reliability of end-to-end testing and Continuous Integration (CI) processes. Moreover, Healenium seamlessly integrates with various Selenium-based automation frameworks and offers support for parallel and remote test executions, IFrames, Actions, Selenide integration, and mobile testing through Appium, making it a versatile choice for developers. Its ability to enhance test resilience in dynamic environments sets it apart as an essential tool in the realm of test automation.
Description
jBrowserDriver is a flexible and programmable web browser driver that adheres to the Selenium WebDriver standards. This headless driver is based on WebKit technology and is exclusively written in Java. The project is available as open source and is distributed under the Apache License v2.0. To utilize jBrowserDriver with a remote Selenium server, you need to initiate the remote server(s) and apply the correct code to interact with jBrowserDriver from a distance. For those looking to build jBrowserDriver from the source, it is necessary to install and configure Maven version 3.x and execute the command mvn clean compile install from the root of the project. If you prefer using Eclipse, you can either import the existing Java project from the root directory or bring in the Maven file directly. Furthermore, jBrowserDriver can be seamlessly integrated into your projects just like any standard Selenium WebDriver or RemoteWebDriver, making it compatible with both Selenium Server and Selenium Grid configurations. This versatility ensures that developers can easily leverage its capabilities in various testing environments.
