Description

The Medical Imaging Suite from Google Cloud is crafted to revolutionize the way organizations handle imaging diagnostics by ensuring that imaging data is not only accessible but also interoperable and beneficial. This suite provides a secure, compliant, and fully managed service to oversee healthcare data in various formats such as FHIR, HL7v2, and DICOM, alongside unstructured text in natural language. Utilizing a cloud infrastructure simplifies the process of storing and sharing extensive collections of medical images that are prevalent in the healthcare sector, making it both efficient and economical. The Cloud Healthcare API facilitates operations to read DICOM instances, studies, and series in alignment with the DICOMweb standard. Furthermore, the suite enhances research capabilities and improves the overall patient experience in healthcare by providing comprehensive solutions for data storage and analysis, among other functionalities. Additionally, it offers guidance on concepts and best practices for the integration of third-party medical imaging viewers with the Cloud Healthcare API, ensuring a seamless experience for users. This holistic approach not only streamlines workflow but also fosters innovation in the medical imaging landscape.

Description

The Qvera Interface Engine (QIE) is a healthcare integration engine from Qvera, which has worked in healthcare interoperability since 2008. It receives, routes and transforms messages between clinical, imaging and administrative systems for hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, and software vendors who embed QIE in their own products. A single engine covers HL7 v2 and v3, FHIR, DICOM including native DIMSE, X12, NCPDP, ASTM, CDA and IHE profiles, over MLLP, REST, SFTP, file, database, message queue and SMB network share transports. Imaging and clinical interfaces do not need separate tools. Three capabilities set it apart. DICOM networking is built into the engine itself: store, query, retrieve and modality worklist, with header de-identification, alongside the HL7 and FHIR interfaces. Existing Mirth Connect channels, including their JavaScript, convert into QIE channels from the product menu, with a report of anything worth checking. And high availability, with several QIE nodes sharing one database, is available on every licensing model. Interfaces are scripted in JavaScript with a built-in Code Wizard, and a built-in AI Companion helps build and troubleshoot them. The datastore is your own choice of MSSQL, MySQL or MariaDB, so there is no proprietary datastore to adopt. The Remote Management Hub monitors and controls QIE instances deployed inside separate customer networks from one console. Deployment is on-premise, in containers, or in your own cloud. More than 600 sites run QIE in production today, carrying more than 25,000 interfaces and processing more than 50 million messages a day. SOC 2 Type 2 attested.

Pricing Details

$9,980 per year (2 channels)
Choose from Channel-based, Enterprise, or OEM licensing based on how you deploy or distribute QIE. These are commercial models, not feature tiers.

Channel-based licensing
Starting at $9,980 per year
(for 2 channels)

The more channels you license, the lower the cost per channel, so larger deployments cost far less than simple multiplication suggests.

- Production, test and developer licenses included
- Standard support and onboarding
- High availability available

Enterprise licensing
Contact Qvera for pricing

Best for large-scale deployments.

- Full capabilities of licensed product

- Includes unlimited channels
- Standard support and onboarding
- High availability available

OEM licensing
Contact Qvera for pricing

For OEM partners embedding or distributing QIE.

What comes with your license?

Complete product capabilities

Every licensing model includes the complete QIE feature set. There are no Basic, Pro, or Enterprise feature editions. High availability is available across all three licensing models.

Production, test and developer licenses

Every license covers one production instance and one test instance for staging, development and testing, and each runs the full QIE license. Every license also includes developer licenses for developer workstations, and larger licensing options include more.

Standard support and onboarding

Standard support is available from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Mountain Time by phone, email, support portal, and knowledge base. System-down emergencies receive 24/7 assistance. Live engineer assistance, onboarding support, and answers to simple interface-development questions are included.

Services beyond standard support

Training and certification is available for an additional charge. More involved interface-development work is quoted separately under a statement of work. Qvera offers Integration Services for fixed-scope projects, dedicated engineers, or fully managed integration services for QIE.

Remote Management Hub (RMH)

Remote Management Hub brings every registered QIE site into one central dashboard. From a single console, operators can monitor the health and status of a QIE fleet, review version and activity information, and open a site’s administration console when work is needed.

RMH is an optional add-on available with any QIE licensing model. It is licensed separately and sized by the number of sites you register.
