Description

Gleam Audio serves as a desktop application designed for audio processing, catering specifically to podcasters, voiceover professionals, audiobook narrators, and others engaged in spoken-word recordings. The software employs on-device AI technology for effective noise reduction, tackling issues like hiss, hum, fan noise, and ambient room sounds while maintaining vocal clarity. Additionally, users can adjust loudness levels, edit recordings using a visual waveform interface, segment longer files into shorter clips, and convert audio into various supported formats. The application allows for both individual and batch processing, providing users with options to choose specific tools, adjust settings, and designate names and locations for their output files. Importantly, all processing occurs locally, ensuring that users do not have to upload their audio files to any cloud service to utilize these features. Gleam Audio is offered as a downloadable desktop application and is made available under the AGPL license. A free personal-use option permits processing of up to 20 files per week, while commercial users can access unlimited processing through a flexible pay-what-you-want licensing model. This approach makes Gleam Audio accessible for both casual and professional users looking to enhance their audio production workflow.

Description

Noise Blocker 3 cleans outgoing microphone audio on Windows before it reaches meetings, games, streams, or recordings. Instead of asking users to capture examples of every unwanted sound, the rebuilt app applies automatic AI cancellation in real time. It targets typing, mouse clicks, fan noise, hiss, and everyday room sounds while keeping speech clear. The desktop app exposes its processed signal as a virtual microphone, so it works anywhere Windows lets you choose an input device, including Discord, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, and OBS. Processing happens locally on the PC. Additional controls include voice activation, a configurable gate, loudness equalisation, live input/output monitoring, and system-wide microphone shortcuts. Shortcuts can toggle mute or operate as push-to-talk or push-to-mute. Windows 10 and 11 are supported. Anyone can download and test the software without registering or sharing an email address; the free allowance resets to 30 minutes each week. Unlimited use is available through a perpetual personal licence. The purchase includes a year of new releases and priority support, but the software does not stop working when that coverage ends. Buying another year of updates is optional.
