Description
Gleam Audio serves as a desktop application designed for audio processing, catering specifically to podcasters, voiceover professionals, audiobook narrators, and others engaged in spoken-word recordings. The software employs on-device AI technology for effective noise reduction, tackling issues like hiss, hum, fan noise, and ambient room sounds while maintaining vocal clarity. Additionally, users can adjust loudness levels, edit recordings using a visual waveform interface, segment longer files into shorter clips, and convert audio into various supported formats. The application allows for both individual and batch processing, providing users with options to choose specific tools, adjust settings, and designate names and locations for their output files. Importantly, all processing occurs locally, ensuring that users do not have to upload their audio files to any cloud service to utilize these features. Gleam Audio is offered as a downloadable desktop application and is made available under the AGPL license. A free personal-use option permits processing of up to 20 files per week, while commercial users can access unlimited processing through a flexible pay-what-you-want licensing model. This approach makes Gleam Audio accessible for both casual and professional users looking to enhance their audio production workflow.
Description
Helium Converter is a completely free and fully operational application designed to assist users in converting their audio files into various formats. This tool is capable of converting both audio and accompanying tag data, offering extensive compatibility with a wide array of both lossless and lossy music file formats. It also features volume normalization for most output formats, which can be adjusted for each encoder without damaging the original file. Additionally, the metadata associated with the music files is preserved and saved in the destination files. However, it does not support the conversion of DRM-protected music files. Users can manage how to address conflicting filenames and can easily toggle between dark (the default) and light themes. Furthermore, you can choose the specific output folder for your converted files, with the option to save them in the same location as the original files if desired. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, Helium Converter makes audio conversion a straightforward process for everyone.
