Description

Gardience serves as a comprehensive fleet management solution for Windows and Linux systems, utilizing Salt and available in both self-hosted and vendor-managed formats. It features capabilities such as patch management, CVE vulnerability assessments, configuration oversight, and adherence to STIG and CIS security standards, complete with the ability to export audit reports. IT professionals can effectively manage server inventories, plan and authorize changes, and access detailed records of tamper-evident activities. The platform supports Ansible playbooks and includes a Terraform provider for seamless integration of new machines and automated configuration applications. Additionally, it boasts a REST API and an MCP server to facilitate automation and workflows involving AI agents, all while ensuring that human verification is a prerequisite for any changes made. Furthermore, Gardience provides workflows for CMMC Level 2 assessments, which encompass policy templates, evidence gathering, and support for System Security Plans and Plans of Action and Milestones. This versatile tool is tailored for teams managing a diverse range of Windows and Linux environments, particularly those operating under regulatory constraints or within air-gapped settings. In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, Gardience's robust features position it as an essential asset for organizations seeking to enhance their IT management practices.

Description

boxd offers developers, engineering teams, and AI-agent applications access to persistent Linux virtual machines. Each virtual machine operates with its own kernel and features such as SSH access, a public HTTPS address, and persistent disk storage, allowing for the execution of software requiring a comprehensive computing environment, including Docker, systemd, long-running agents, and development servers, all within an isolated setup. Users have the ability to fork a live machine along with its memory and disk state, enabling them to experiment with alternative approaches without having to rebuild the entire environment; additionally, idle machines can enter a hibernation mode while preserving their disk state. Management of these machines is facilitated through SSH, a command-line interface, an API, and SDKs in Python and TypeScript. Organizations can easily integrate with platforms like GitHub, Linear, and Slack for enhanced collaboration. boxd can be operated as a managed cloud service located in Frankfurt, or it can be self-hosted on Linux infrastructure that supports KVM, with free deployment options available for configurations up to 16 vCPUs. Practical applications for boxd include cloud development environments, AI-agent test beds, background coding assistants, and staging environments for previews. This versatility makes it an excellent solution for teams looking to optimize their development workflows.
