Description

GTXRaster CAD PLUS offers users enhanced licensing options through Flexera, allowing for both standalone and network installations, which increases flexibility! The network versions now come with Package and Borrow features, enabling users to easily access various software versions or temporarily borrow a license for consulting purposes, making it ideal for engineering professionals. With capabilities that range from hybrid raster/vector editing to fully automated CAD conversions, this software suite accommodates a variety of drawing needs seamlessly. The interface remains user-friendly and productive, with all commands, menus, and toolbars consistent with familiar CAD applications, ensuring an intuitive learning experience. The latest GTXRaster CAD 2021 Series showcases a modern Ribbon user interface that enhances usability. Furthermore, the introduction of the GIMPORT command allows for quick imports and conversions of an extensive array of raster file formats, including those that many CAD and imaging applications do not support. In addition, users can now open PDF files, extract images, and optionally save those images back into PDF format, significantly improving workflow efficiency.

Description

Raster images are transformed into vector graphics by interpreting pixel color data and representing it as basic geometric shapes. Typically, this process involves analyzing regions where colors or brightness levels are similar, which are then converted into graphic elements like lines, circles, and curves. A raster graphic consists of a rectangular array of pixels, each assigned a specific color value, and resizing such an image usually leads to a degradation in visual quality. In contrast, vector graphics rely on mathematical formulas to define shapes, such as points, lines, and curves, rather than being composed of pixels. This fundamental difference allows vector graphics to be resized and rotated without any loss of clarity or detail, making them highly adaptable for various applications. As a result, vector graphics are often preferred for designs requiring scalability, such as logos and illustrations.
