Description

GPUBank serves as a cloud-based platform where developers, machine-learning experts, and research groups can rent GPU resources to enhance their AI and GPU-intensive workloads. Users can easily navigate the web console to select either NVIDIA or AMD GPU instances, pick a deployment location, and initiate pre-configured setups for a variety of purposes, including model training, inference, fine-tuning, image generation, and framework development. The platform offers a range of templates, such as PyTorch, vLLM, ComfyUI, and Ollama, catering to diverse project needs. Additionally, GPUBank provides an API, a command-line interface, a Python SDK, and a Terraform provider to facilitate easy provisioning and management of usage. Pricing for GPU compute is calculated per second and encompasses the costs for the chosen instance's CPU, memory, local NVMe storage, public IPv4, and network traffic as part of the hourly rate; however, persistent disks incur additional charges. Customers have the flexibility to opt for on-demand, interruptible, or reserved capacity across various data center locations, ensuring they can tailor their resources to fit specific project requirements effectively. This versatility makes GPUBank an appealing choice for those looking to optimize their computational needs in a cost-effective manner.

Description

boxd offers developers, engineering teams, and AI-agent applications access to persistent Linux virtual machines. Each virtual machine operates with its own kernel and features such as SSH access, a public HTTPS address, and persistent disk storage, allowing for the execution of software requiring a comprehensive computing environment, including Docker, systemd, long-running agents, and development servers, all within an isolated setup. Users have the ability to fork a live machine along with its memory and disk state, enabling them to experiment with alternative approaches without having to rebuild the entire environment; additionally, idle machines can enter a hibernation mode while preserving their disk state. Management of these machines is facilitated through SSH, a command-line interface, an API, and SDKs in Python and TypeScript. Organizations can easily integrate with platforms like GitHub, Linear, and Slack for enhanced collaboration. boxd can be operated as a managed cloud service located in Frankfurt, or it can be self-hosted on Linux infrastructure that supports KVM, with free deployment options available for configurations up to 16 vCPUs. Practical applications for boxd include cloud development environments, AI-agent test beds, background coding assistants, and staging environments for previews. This versatility makes it an excellent solution for teams looking to optimize their development workflows.
