Description
Financial Tech Wiz Trading Journal combines a trading journal with 16+ prebuilt swing trading scanners, including the Daily Pivot Breakout Scanner, so traders can find setups and review how they traded them in one place. Trades sync automatically from 25+ brokers such as Fidelity, Schwab (thinkorswim), TradeStation, Robinhood, E*Trade, tastytrade, Interactive Brokers and Webull, or can be imported by CSV, so there is no manual data entry.
Once trades are in, the journal reviews them automatically with win rate, profit factor, equity curve, drawdown analysis and S&P 500 benchmark comparison, across multiple accounts, journals and backtests. The AI Trading Coach answers questions about the trader's own history, such as which setups lose the most edge, and MCP access lets AI assistants like Claude read journal and scanner data. Membership includes the premium Financial Tech Wiz Discord. Plans start with a 7-day free trial, then $19 per month or $119 per year.
Description
SpotTradeJournal serves as an analytics and trading journal platform tailored for active investors in both stocks and cryptocurrencies. Users can effortlessly import their trades from multiple sources such as Interactive Brokers (.tlg), TradeZero, Binance, Coinbase, QuanTower, or any CSV file, eliminating the need for tedious manual data entry.
After the trades are imported, the platform automatically computes essential metrics like profit and loss, win rates, profit factors, expectancy, and equity curves. Trades are meticulously categorized by symbol, strategy, day of the week, and time of day, empowering traders to pinpoint precisely where their gains and losses occur.
Additionally, the platform includes features for emotion tracking, allowing traders to annotate their feelings at the time of trade entry—be it FOMO, confidence, anxiety, or greed—and to analyze how each emotional state affects their financial outcomes over time. Mistake tracking is also available, highlighting the cumulative financial impact of recurring mistakes such as adjusting stop losses or engaging in revenge trading.
Among the other useful features are a daily journal for pre-trade planning and post-trade evaluations, a tracker for personal goals, a P&L calendar, live trading charts complete with entry and exit markers, and a Plan Tracker designed as a tool for challenging compound growth. With these comprehensive functionalities, SpotTradeJournal equips traders with valuable insights to enhance their trading performance.
