It is a fully-featured Integrated Development Environment, (IDE), and code editor for C/C++ programming languages. It uses Mingw port GCC (GNU Compiler Collection), as its compiler. Embarcadero DevC++ can be used with Cygwin and any other GCC-based compiler. Embarcadero DevC++ is built with the latest Embarcadero Delphi. Embarcadero DevC++ is native Windows and has a small memory footprint. It does not use Electron. Optimized to parallel compile on modern multi-core processors.
