Validation gates check for budget adherence, logical subsystem analysis, datasheet-supported component numbers, ERC-compliant schematics, DRC-compliant layouts, generated Gerber files, firmware source code, and comprehensive bring-up plans. Additionally, Copperhead is equipped to handle modifications for existing boards: users can direct it to a KiCad repository, start the project, and request specific changes. The edits made are targeted adjustments to KiCad source files, ensuring that changes are minimal and easily reviewable while leaving other sections intact.
