Clearlane Read & Understood is a Confluence Cloud application designed to assign standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and various pages to individuals or groups, requiring read confirmations by a set deadline. This application meticulously tracks each reader's identity, the date they confirmed their reading, the version of the page, and its SHA-256 fingerprint, prompting for new confirmations whenever any changes occur on the page. Additionally, it features optional multiple-choice quizzes to evaluate comprehension and offers deadline reminders, a space-level overview of users, and personal reading lists to assist teams in monitoring any pending acknowledgments. Administrators have the capability to export data in CSV format and generate per-page PDF training documents for audit purposes; a signing password can also be included to facilitate workflows that align with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Targeted primarily at quality assurance and training teams within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device sectors, and ISO 9001 compliant environments, the app supports interfaces in English, French, and German. Furthermore, it operates seamlessly on the Atlassian Forge platform within the Confluence Cloud ecosystem. This robust tool enhances accountability and ensures that important documentation is thoroughly reviewed and understood by all relevant personnel.
