Description
DeepFND is an advanced, intuitive software solution specifically designed for the comprehensive design of deep foundation piles, combining both geotechnical and structural calculations in a seamless environment. This innovative tool empowers engineers to accurately calculate the axial geotechnical pile capacity, encompassing factors like skin friction and end bearing, while also allowing for the assessment of settlement responses based on Standard Penetration Test (SPT) or Cone Penetration Test (CPT) data. Furthermore, users can conduct thorough lateral pile analyses, focusing on displacement, shear, and moment, through specified head-loads or pushover methods. The software facilitates the design of individual piles, pile groups, and even pile rafts, accommodating various custom pile-cap geometries. DeepFND supports a wide range of pile types, including drilled, driven, continuous flight auger (CFA), caissons, drilled-in-displacement, micropiles, and helical piles, and effectively models soil-structure interaction through either soil springs or a sophisticated 3D finite-element analysis.
