Description
Calljmp is a developer-first AI runtime for building and running long-lived, stateful agent workflows in production.
Unlike AI agent frameworks that focus mainly on authoring logic in code, Calljmp provides a managed runtime that handles execution concerns by default. This includes durable state persistence, pause and resume for human-in-the-loop workflows, safe retries with idempotency, and built-in observability across every step of an agent’s execution.
Calljmp is designed for teams using TypeScript who want to ship production-grade AI systems without stitching together queues, databases, custom state machines, and monitoring infrastructure. Developers write agent workflows as code, while the runtime guarantees reliable execution over time, even across crashes, restarts, and long waits.
Calljmp targets the gap between developer-first agent frameworks and heavy workflow engines, offering a practical path from prototype to production for real-world AI agents.
Description
boxd offers developers, engineering teams, and AI-agent applications access to persistent Linux virtual machines. Each virtual machine operates with its own kernel and features such as SSH access, a public HTTPS address, and persistent disk storage, allowing for the execution of software requiring a comprehensive computing environment, including Docker, systemd, long-running agents, and development servers, all within an isolated setup. Users have the ability to fork a live machine along with its memory and disk state, enabling them to experiment with alternative approaches without having to rebuild the entire environment; additionally, idle machines can enter a hibernation mode while preserving their disk state. Management of these machines is facilitated through SSH, a command-line interface, an API, and SDKs in Python and TypeScript. Organizations can easily integrate with platforms like GitHub, Linear, and Slack for enhanced collaboration. boxd can be operated as a managed cloud service located in Frankfurt, or it can be self-hosted on Linux infrastructure that supports KVM, with free deployment options available for configurations up to 16 vCPUs. Practical applications for boxd include cloud development environments, AI-agent test beds, background coding assistants, and staging environments for previews. This versatility makes it an excellent solution for teams looking to optimize their development workflows.
