Description
BuniOD is a cloud-based platform that enhances browser testing through AI support, catering to the needs of QA teams, product managers, and developers who assess web applications. By allowing users to articulate workflows and anticipated outcomes in straightforward language, the service automatically crafts a browser scenario that can be reviewed, modified, and approved by team members. These scenarios can be executed either on demand or scheduled to run daily using desktop Chromium. Additionally, BuniOD meticulously logs run histories, captures screenshots, records console and network activity, and provides insights into any steps that fail. Teams have the capability to organize scenarios into sequential business processes, utilize test identities and inboxes for validating application emails, and invite colleagues to participate with project-level permissions. It effectively supports repeatable checks for UI, end-to-end processes, and regression testing across various flows, including sign-up, checkout, booking, and customer portals. Notably, BuniOD operates independently of an application's source repository and does not currently extend its capabilities to native mobile applications, API tests, or load testing scenarios. This comprehensive approach streamlines the testing process, ensuring that web applications maintain high-quality standards.
Description
You can perform almost any task that you would typically handle manually in a web browser using Puppeteer! The lightweight version, known as Puppeteer-core, is designed for those who want to launch an existing browser installation or connect to a remote browser. It's crucial to ensure that the version of puppeteer-core you choose aligns with the browser version you plan to use. For individuals already acquainted with other browser testing frameworks, Puppeteer will seem quite familiar. You start by creating a Browser instance, opening web pages, and then using Puppeteer's API to manipulate those pages. By default, Puppeteer downloads a specific Chromium version, ensuring that its API functions correctly right from the start. To utilize Puppeteer with an alternative version of Chrome or Chromium, you simply need to specify the path to the executable when you create a Browser instance. This flexibility allows for a tailored testing experience that can adapt to different project requirements.
