Description
DBConvert is a family of database migration and synchronization tools for specific database pairs. It moves database structure and data between SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, Microsoft Access, Firebird, IBM DB2, FoxPro, Excel, and compatible cloud databases such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL, Supabase, and Neon.
Use DBConvert for one-time migrations or recurring one-way and bidirectional synchronization. It can create a new target database, transfer data into existing tables, and migrate tables, columns, indexes, views, and foreign keys. Synchronization jobs can apply inserted, updated, and deleted records between supported databases.
A visual interface handles table and field mapping, data-type conversion, filters, and record-processing rules without requiring custom migration scripts. Large tables can be processed in parallel, and reusable jobs can be launched manually, on a schedule, or from the command line.
Each edition supports a defined source-and-target combination, so customers can license the database pair required for a particular migration or synchronization project.
