Avast Battery Saver smartly diminishes CPU performance during times of low demand, which enhances your battery longevity significantly. The display tends to be the largest consumer of battery power, so we ensure that brightness levels are adjusted automatically and the screen is powered down when not in use. While your device is not plugged in, we further extend battery life by deactivating Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and the hard disk when they are unneeded. Additionally, we automatically conserve battery when your device runs on its own power by optimizing these settings. You can configure Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other energy-consuming components to shut off automatically during inactivity. By intelligently managing CPU performance and adjusting display brightness, your device conserves energy effectively. You have the option to set Battery Saver to activate on its own whenever your device is running on battery. Depending on the selected Battery Saver profile, Avast Battery Saver may throttle your processor speed to prolong battery life, though this should not impact your experience while using office applications or browsing the internet. This proactive approach ensures that you can work and play longer without the worry of your battery draining too quickly.
