Antares serves as a powerful migration solution tailored for enterprise BI and analytics teams, facilitating seamless transitions between different BI environments. It initiates the process by linking to the existing BI setup, conducting an automatic analysis, and transforming dashboards for deployment in the new platform.
The Analyzer component is offered at no cost and operates entirely on deterministic principles: it catalogs the current environment, highlights potential migration risks, and assesses the effort needed for each dashboard. This process allows teams to effectively plan their migration by identifying and excluding unused or orphaned dashboards before incurring any costs related to the migration. Following this, the Converter component automates the dashboard reconstruction, utilizing established mapping tables to ensure that visual types, aggregations, and calculations remain consistent throughout the process, rather than relying on ad hoc methods. In cases where the migration involves semantically intricate scenarios, AI is employed within a framework of deterministic validation.
Currently, Antares supports migrations from Tableau to Power BI, including deployment to Microsoft Fabric, as well as from Tableau to Databricks AI/BI.
The pricing structure is straightforward, charging a flat fee of $200 for each migrated dashboard, with no additional costs for user licenses or time constraints. Furthermore, the expenses associated with LLM usage are separate and generally amount to less than $20 per dashboard, making it an economical choice for organizations looking to streamline their BI migrations.
