Description
The Manufacturing Toolkit (MTK) is a specialized CAD SDK aimed at software developers who are creating quoting systems, CAM workflows, cloud manufacturing solutions, or any application that integrates geometry with production processes.
MTK offers a variety of features, such as:
• Recognition of features like machining, sheet metal, and molding
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM) checks for the same processes
• Unfolding techniques specifically for sheet metal
• Nesting capabilities
• Calculations for bounding box, volume, surface area, wall thickness, draft angle, and numerous other metrics
• Importing of CAD files and visualization on the web
• Additional features in development, including support for additive manufacturing
This toolkit is already enabling teams to enhance efficiency in cost estimation and quoting processes while streamlining DFM checks, thus eliminating the need to start from scratch. As a result, it significantly accelerates workflows and improves productivity in manufacturing environments.
